The Super Eagles of Nigeria are now expected to take on the Crocodiles of Lesotho in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Thursday, November 16.
The game was initially scheduled for Friday, November 17, but the new date was announced on the Super Eagles official X handle on Thursday.
The encounter will go down at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo at 5pm.
Nigeria will lock horns with the Warriors of Zimbabwe four days later at the Amarhoro Stadium, Kigali.
Benin Republic, Rwanda and South Africa are other teams in the group. And the first-place team in the group will automatically qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup which will be hosted by USA, Mexico and Canada.
Nigeria failed to qualify for the last edition of the Mondial in Qatar.
