In the Premier League: Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina scored his first Premier League goal for Nottingham Forest in their 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Sunday.
The Nigerian international, who was making his eight appearance for Forest this season opened the scoring in the fifth minute when he guided a powerful long shot into the bottom corner.
His compatriot, Taiwo Awoniyi was also in action for 81 minutes in the game. He has scored three goals with two assists in nine league games this season.
Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka provided an assist for Brentford in their 3-2 victory over West Ham in Saturday’s Premier League game at the Brentford Community Stadium. Onyeka set up Neal Maupay for the opening goal in the 11th minute.
At the Craven Cottage: Super Eagles duo of Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi both featured in Fulham’s 1-0 defeat against Manchester United on Saturday. Bassey played for the entire duration of the game, while Iwobi was in action for 82 minutes.
In the German Bundesliga: Nigerian forward, Victor Boniface bagged two assists for Bayer Leverkusen in their 3-2 win over Hoffenheim on Saturday. Leverkusen took the early lead in the 9th minute thanks to a beautiful assist from Boniface to Wirtz, who calmly converted the ball.
The 22-year-old provided another perfect assist for Grimaldo to net the winning goal in the 70th minute and ensure Leverkusen bagged the maximum points. He has netted 10 goals, with six assists in all competitions this season.
In Turkey: Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu was on target for Trabzonspor in their 3-2 away win at Osayi-Samuel’s Fenerbahce on Saturday. Onuachu put his team in front in the 10th minute, and has recorded four goals this season. His compatriot, Bright Osayi-Samuel was also in a in action for Fenerbahce for the entire duration.
In the Italian Serie A: Ademola Lookman got an assist for Atalanta in their 1-2 home defeat against Inter Milan in Saturday. Lookman assisted Gianluca Scamacca for Atalanta’s only goal in the 61st minute. The Nigerian international has now recorded three goals with two assists in the league this season.
Issac Success was in action for 83 minutes for Udinese in their 1-0 away in at AC Milan on Saturday. His compatriot, goalkeeper Maduka Okoye was an unused substitute for Udinese.
In the Franch Ligue 1: Nigerian winger Moses Simon was in action from start to finish for Nantes as they lost 1-0 at home to Reims on Sunday. The 28-year-old has recorded two goals with four assists this season.
Terem Moffi was also in action for Nice in their 2-0 win over Rennes on Sunday. Moffi was replaced in the 80th minute of the encounter. He has recorded three goals with two assists in the league this season.

In Saudi Arabia: Anthony Nwakaeme and Henry Onyekuru were both on target for Al Feiha in their 3-3 draw against Al Taee on Saturday. Nwakaeme opened the scoring in the 15th minute, while Onyekuru was on target in the 67th minute.
