The Super Eagles of Nigeria have arrived Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations starting this Saturday.
The contingent, who were dressed in African attires in buoyant mood, left the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos on Wednesday morning and arrived in Abidjan few minutes later.
The Super Eagles arrived from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on Tuesday and spent the night in Lagos. They played two friendlies against local club Al Gharib and Guinea during their one-week stay in Abu Dhabi.
The team was hosted to a send forth dinner by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Tuesday night.
Nigeria will lock horns with the Nzalang Nacional of Equatorial Guinea in their first game at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe on Sunday.
