Chelsea claimed the joint-biggest victory in an EFL Cup semi-final second leg after overturning a 1-0 semi-final first-leg defeat with an emphatic 6-1 win over Middlesbrough at Stamford Bridge.
An own goal from Jonny Howson got them started, Enzo Fernandez, Axel Disasi and Cole Palmer made it four before half-time.
Palmer got his second after the break and Noni Madueke got number six.
A disappointing night for Middlesbrough, who led 1-0 coming into the second leg, but they did give their fans something to cheer with a goal from Morgan Rogers late on.
Chelsea qualify for the final 6-2 on aggregate, in what will be the first cup final of the Todd Boehly era. Chelsea become only the third club to reach a 10th EFL Cup final appearance.
The final will go down at the Wembley Stadium on 25 February, and the blues will face Liverpool or Fulham, who meet at Craven Cottage in their semi-final second leg on Wednesday, with the Reds 2-1 up in the tie.
