FC Barcelona Femení have announced that they’ve reached an agreement with National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) Bay FC for the transfer of Nigerian striker Asisat Oshoala.
Oshoala scored 117 goals in 162 games for the Spanish women’s team, making her the fourth highest scorer in the history of the club.
The Super Falcons striker arrived during the winter window in January 2019, and in her first full season, 2019/20, she scored 30 goals in 32 matches.
This season, the reigning CAF Women’s Player of the Year has scored eight goals in 14 games played.
The former Arsenal and Liverpool striker won 14 trophies at Barcelona, two Champions Leagues, four League titles, three Queen’s Cups, four Spanish Super Cups and one Catalan Cup.
