Italian champions Napoli have sacked manager Walter Mazzarri after just three months in charge and has been replaced with Slovakia boss Francesco Calzona.
Mazzarri replaced Rudi Garcia in November, and departs with the Napels club ninth in Serie A, 27 points behind leaders Inter Milan.
Calzona has now signed a contract until the end of the season and will also remain in charge of Slovakia. The 55-year-old previously had spells as Napoli assistant under former managers Maurizio Sarri and Luciano Spalletti.
Calzona was appointed Slovakia boss in August 2022 and helped the nation qualify for this summer’s European Championship in Germany.
