Premier League leaders Liverpool have been drawn against Sparta Prague in the last 16 of the Europa League, while Brighton will lock horns with Italian side Roma, and Europa Conference League champions West Ham will face Freiburg.
In the Europa Conference League, Aston Villa – the last remaining British team in that competition – have been drawn against former European champions Ajax.
The first legs of the ties will go down on 7 March, with the second legs to be played a week later on 14 March.
Liverpool progressed to the last 16 with a game to spare in November, avoiding February’s play-off round after finishing top of Group E. The Reds have won the competition three times and finished runners-up in 2016.
The Europa League final will take place in Dublin on May 22, and the Conference League final go down in Athens a week later.
