Holders Manchester City will lock horns with Chelsea in one of the semi final fixtures of this season’s FA Cup. In the other game, Championship side Coventry City will face twelve-time winners Manchester United, who last lifted the FA Cup in 2016.
Coventry City beat Wolves in their quarter-final game, thanks to Ellis Simms’ 100th-minute winner, while Manchester United turned things around in extra time to beat rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford with Amad Diallo’s 121st minute winner on Sunday.
Meanwhile Manchester City cruised past Newcastle United in the last eight and Chelsea, who won the competition last in 2018 beat Championship leaders Leicester 4-2 on Sunday.
It’s the first time Coventry will be playing the FA Cup semi-final since they won the competition back in 1987, the club’s only major trophy.
Both semi-finals will go down at Wembley Stadium on April 20 and 21.
