Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the football event of Paris 2024 Olympic Games, after a goalless draw against the Banyana Banyana of South Africa in Pretoria on Tuesday.
Nigeria won the tie 1-0 on aggregate after beating the South Africans by a lone goal in Abuja last Friday.
The Falcons are back at the Olympic Games for the first time since 2008, as Randy Waldrum’s team ends 16-year non qualification streak.
Nigeria will complete in Group C of the Olympics alongside World champions Spain, Japan and Brazil.
