Enugu Rangers have won the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title after a 2-0 victory over Bendel Insurance in Enugu on Sunday.
Kenechukwu Agu put the coach Fidelis Ilechukwu side in front in the 33rd minute, before Chidiebere Nwobodo doubled the advantage in the 65th minute to secure their 8th NPFL title with one game to spare.
The Flying Antelopes’ league title and first since 2016 was sealed after their closest challengers, Remo Stars and Enyimba lost to Sunshine Stars of Akure and Sporting Lagos respectively.
