As part of preparations for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Super Falcons of Nigeria will face their Canadian counterparts in a friendly in Sevilla, Spain on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
Randy Waldrum’s side will train for two weeks in Sevilla ahead of the Olympic Games.
Nigeria played a goalless raw with the reigning Olympic champions, Canada at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
The 11-time African champions, Nigeria will face world champions Spain, Japan and Brazil in Group A of the women’s football even of the Olympics, while Canada will lock horns with hosts France, Colombia and New Zealand.
Super Falcons will play Brazil in their first game at the Stade Bordeaux on 25th July, before facing Spain on 28th July, and Japan on 31st July.
