Former Super Eagles head coach Finidi George has disclosed that Victor Osimhen has not apologised after his outburst on social media in June.
Osimhen lashed out at Finidi in a live Instagram video after the latter reportedly accused him of pulling out of national team games.
Finidi said Osimhen is yet to apologise even after he reached out to the striker.
Finidi told Nigeria Info FM, “I sent him a message that it was not the best way, just someone telling you that coach said that and you’re taking about me like I said it in an interview.
“From that point I didn’t hear from him, I moved on and I wish everybody well, only God will judge”.
Finidi also refused to comment on suggestion Osimhen should have been sanctioned with a ban from the Super Eagles.
“I don’t know, he is there already, let him be. We cannot crucify him, he has made a mistake, we have moved on and life goes on.”
Finidi resigned as Super Eagles head coach in June, after the Super Eagles failed to record a win in their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic.
