Shooting Stars Snatch First Away Win
In Ozoro, Shooting Stars SC (3SC) recorded their first away win of the campaign with a thrilling 2-1 comeback against Warri Wolves. The hosts went ahead in the 52nd minute through Igbunu Evwierhurhoma, but 3SC turned the game on its head late on. Qamar Adegoke struck an equaliser in the 84th minute before Adams Mustapha completed the turnaround just two minutes later. The victory makes it back-to-back wins for Shooting Stars, following a winless opening four games.
Barau FC Break Their Duck
Barau FC claimed their first win of the season with a 3-1 triumph over fellow new comers Kun Khalifat. Ebuka Nwokorie put the hosts in front early, but their lead lasted barely a minute as Yahaya Ibrahim levelled for Barau. Hillary Ekawu then gave the visitors the advantage in the 65th minute, before Ibrahim grabbed his brace nine minutes from time to seal a deserved victory.
Nasarawa United Hit the Summit
In Lafia, Nasarawa United climbed to the top of the table with a 2-0 win over Katsina United. Goals from Anas Yusuf and Abubakar Abdullahi ensured a comfortable victory for the Solid Miners, who are now unbeaten in five matches and riding a three-game winning streak.
Four Goals in Bauchi Thriller
At the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Wikki Tourists and Enugu Rangers shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw. Klinshak Longbak and Jonathan Mairiga were on target for the home side, while veteran striker Godwin Obaje netted twice to secure a point for Rangers.
Plateau United Climb Out of Danger
Plateau United moved out of the relegation zone with a narrow 1-0 win over El-Kanemi Warriors at the New Jos Stadium. Monday Gideon’s strike in the 32nd minute was enough to hand the hosts their second victory of the season.
Insurance, Bayelsa Share the Points
In Benin City, Bendel Insurance were held to a 1-1 draw by Bayelsa United. Kayode Oke converted a penalty on the stroke of halftime, but Jawad Mustapha equalised for the visitors shortly after the restart.

Enyimba maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-1 draw away to Ikorodu City. Joel Ezra put the People’s Elephant ahead in the 13th minute, but Joseph Arumala quickly restored parity for the hosts.
