The Super Eagles of Nigeria trashed a local club in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates 12-0 in a friendly game on Sunday.
Nigeria went in front 6-0 at halftime, with Ademola Lookman scoring four goals, while Victor Osimhen bagged a brace.
In the second half, substitute Moses Simon scored twice, while captain Ahmed Musa and Umar Sadiq were also on target.
The Jose Peseiro’s side will now shift attention to Monday’s friendly game against the Syli Nationale of Guinea at the Yani Abas Stadium.
The friendly against Guinea will also be played behind closed doors.
The Super Eagles will head to Abidjan for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday.
