Paris FC have officially secured the services of Nigerian winger Moses Simon, completing a €7 million transfer from fellow Ligue 1 side FC Nantes. The 29-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the newly promoted club, becoming one of their marquee signings ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Simon brings with him a wealth of experience from his six-year spell at Nantes, where he made a significant impact on and off the pitch. Over the course of 201 appearances in all competitions, he scored 37 goals and registered 42 assists. In Ligue 1 alone, he featured 151 times and found the back of the net 28 times.
Last season marked Simon’s most prolific campaign, as he thrived under Antoine Kombouaré’s management. He tallied eight goals and 10 assists in 32 league appearances, playing a crucial role in Nantes’ attacking setup.
His move comes at a pivotal time for Paris FC, who are returning to Ligue 1 after a 46-year absence. Under the guidance of head coach Stéphane Gilli, the club is building a competitive squad to ensure their top-flight survival and establish themselves among France’s elite.
Simon’s pace, creativity, and wealth of Ligue 1 experience will no doubt be a key asset for Paris FC as they prepare for life in the top division.
