Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has unveiled a 31-man provisional list ahead of Nigeria’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Rwanda and South Africa.
The squad—featuring a mix of established stars and emerging talents—will be trimmed down before the team begins camp in Uyo on Monday, September 1st.
Among the familiar faces included are Victor Osimhen, William Troost-Ekong, Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, and Moses Simon, all of whom are expected to play key roles in the fixtures.
The three-time African champions will host Rwanda at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, on Saturday, September 6th (Matchday 7) before traveling to Bloemfontein for a high-stakes clash against South Africa on Tuesday, September 9th (Matchday 8).
