Osimhen Stars for Galatasaray

The Nigeria international played a key role in the emphatic win, providing the assist for Yunus Akgün’s second goal just eight minutes after Galatasaray opened the scoring.
Osimhen then got his name on the scoresheet on the stroke of half-time, giving Okan Buruk’s side a commanding 3-0 lead at the break. The 27-year-old completed his brace 10 minutes from full-time, calmly finishing from Gabriel Sara’s assist to round off an outstanding individual display. In England, Nigerian defender Semi Ajayi was a target as Hull City secured an impressive 2-0 victory over Manchester United at the MKM Stadium on Saturday. Ajayi opened the scoring in the 17th minute before producing a commanding defensive performance to help the Tigers secure all three points.
The goal was particularly significant for Hull, as it was the club’s first Premier League goal since 2017, making the occasion even more memorable for the Nigerian centre-back.
